Geoexplorer is a browser that is currently used for land parcel maps linked with a real property tax administration database as well as business owners locations connected with the business permit and licensing database.

GEOPLAN has the expertise on training their clients for basic and advanced courses using ArcView, Manifold, QGIS and other GIS software. Most of the projects that we have with our clients include basic and advanced GIS trainings.

GEOPLAN also offers development of customized maps that fit your needs and are printable on up to A0 size (33.1″X46.8″) mylar or wax coated paper using Hewlett Packard DesignJet 500PS for printing high color resolution large format maps and banners.

Geographic Positioning System(GPS) Survey is a field survey that uses GPS device to record the exact location of the roads, establishments and other points of interest.

Geoplan Cebu Foundation, Incorporated is a non-stock, non-profit foundation that uses Geographic Information Technology to produce mapped information for government, business and the academia. GEOPLAN succeeded in doing Distributed Geographic Information (DGI), a higher level GIS application where mapped information are published and made accessible via the Internet or in a Local Area Network (LAN). This capability enables GEOPLAN to offer clients affordable yet innovative method of sharing or publishing information.

Intermediate and Advance QGIS Training is a follow-up training course on Geographic Information System for Planning and Disaster Risk Vulnerability Reduction  held at DOST Conference Room last year 2015 in different set of dates.

The training was attended by representatives from the Municipal Government of Balamban, Barili, Borbon, Boljoon and Samboan, Cebu. There were also representatives from the Municipal Government of Malay, Aklan. The training was started by a short introductory message, acknowledgment of participants and set of rules during training period by Ms. Jamaica Urboda, Geoplan Office Administrator at 9:00 in the morning.  Then, Mr. Renon Arrojado – Geoplan’s Manager presented the training schedules, outline of the course and what to expect, within and after the training.

Training on GIS for Planning and Disaster Risk and Vulnerability Reduction Using QGIS

Geographic Information System for Planning and Disaster Risk Vulnerability Reduction was the theme of the training held at DOST Conference Room last August 17-20, 2015 for the first batch, August 25-28, 2015 for the second batch and September 29 -October 2, 2015 for the third batch.

The training was attended by representatives from the City Government of Talisay, Municipal Government of Alegria, Aloguinsan, Balamban, Barili, Badian, Borbon, Boljoon, Moalboal, Samboan and  San Fernando,  Cebu. There are also representatives from the City Government of Bayawan and Dumaguete, Negros Oriental and Victorias City Negros Occidental, City Government of Ormoc, Leyte and Passi, Iloilo. The  training was started by a short introductory message, acknowledgment of participants and set of rules during training period by Ms. Jamaica Urboda, Geoplan Office Administrator at 9:00 in the morning.  Then, Mr. Renon Arrojado – Geoplan’s Manager presented the training schedules, outline of the course, overview of the Geographic Information System (GIS) and QGIS  and its importance and what to expect, within and after the training.
